Maureen, Bowen family;
Checking emails from my NYPD friends It was with saddened heart that I learned of Ken's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Ken as a boss and better yet as a friend. After many years I once again had the pleasure of crossing paths when I bought a mountain home and saw the name BOWEN on a mailbox not a mile from me.
We spent so short a time and learned of the love that he bore for our job, his NYPD, and our TPF.
Rest in Eternal Peace dear friend with family that has past as well as all our Brothers in Blue.
Warmly,
Dom Cammarata

Mr. Bowen was one of the greatest guys I have had the privilege to know. I wish I could be there to honor him and express my condolences in person.
He let me know how proud he was that I made it into medical school, so I will continue to work hard here in Buffalo and not let him down.

HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH KENNY IN BROOKLYN SOUTH HOMICIDE. AS FELLOW SGTS, WE SHARED THE SAME OFFICE TOGETHER. HE BOUGHT YEARS OF EXPIERENCE TO OUR UNIT. HE WOULD OFTEN STAY LATE WHEN I RELIEVED HIM AND WE WOULD DISCUSS THE CASES THAT OUR TEAMS WERE WORKING ON. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.

As a former member of TARU, I had the distinct pleasure to have worked alongside Kenny during many Kidnapping and Hostage Situations. Kenny was always the consummate gentleman and one of the most knowledgeable investigators I have known during my 36 years of service. Kenny had the greatest respect from all who knew and worked with him. Now that his suffering has ended, I pray that Kenny will rest in eternal peace with the Lord forever and ever. "God Bless You Always."

Kenny and my Dad (retired Det. Bill Burns) go back many years. I worked for Kenny for a brief time while in BSHS, and he always had a story to tell me about him and my Dad. On behalf of my father and myself I am sorry for your loss. May he rest in PEACE
