Avice, Moria, Terance and Rebecca. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this time. Ho!d on to the memories. It is what sustains you through this time. Always enjoyed seeing your Mom around town and getting caught up on all that was going on with you.
The first time I met Jeanne, Mrs. Meehan, was at her grandson Elliot's first birthday in Garrison, NY. I was neighbors and friends with Tim and Ninfa (Nicki) when we resided in Peekskill, NY. I recall a classy, refined, statuesque woman. My heartfelt condolences are extended to her family. I also extend sympathy for the passing of John, I had reached out to him for legal consul, and for Tim, taken much too soon...
Moira, Terence, Avice, and Rebecca, I wanted to tell you how very sorry I am to see your mom in the paper this morning. I did her hair many times over the last 20 years and in 40 years in this profession she was and always will be one of my favorite people. She would always speak of all of you and when I read the obituary I felt as though I knew all of you. She didn't leave one out, which is not the norm. Timothy was a couple years younger than me and I was a high school wrestler at PJ and Middletown so I sort of knew him from those years. Your mom's judgement in restaurants was one of the few I could trust. Quality and ambiance. She was one classy woman who was "normal" at the same time and I've seen a lot of impostors over the years. I can't make it but wanted to let you guys know what a great mom you were so fortunate to have.
when I think of Jeannie, pearls, white wine in a nice glass and other finery come to mind. a classy lady indeed. condolences to all those who have loved her.
