Obituary of Pauline A. Caplicki

Pauline A. Caplicki Goshen, NY Pauline A. Caplicki, a lifelong resident of Goshen, NY passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at home. She was 86. The daughter of the late Antone and Catherine Kamrowski, she was born on October 15, 1921. Survivors include her husband, Edmund V. Caplicki Sr.; sons Edmund V. Caplicki Jr. and wife Patricia of LaGrangeville, NY; Dennis P. Caplicki and wife Janet of Goshen, NY; Brian J. Caplicki and wife Ann of Goshen, NY and daughter Darlene Stevens and husband Ronald of Niantic, CT; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Alan. Pauline was employed by the Goshen School district for over 30 years and worked in the kitchen where she will always be remembered by students and faculty for her famous laugh (cackle) that you could hear through out the halls and classrooms of the C.J. Hooker School. She was a long member and past President of the Goshen Business and Professional Womens Club. Pauline (Twiggy) will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paulines name to the Goshen Recreation Commission for youth programs, c/o Town of Goshen, Town Hall, Goshen, NY 10924.
