I want to ad my more sincere condolences to Bette's family on her passing. It was my great fortune and pleasure to have worked with her in my role as President of the Paterson Education Association,
Bette was a wonderful person who shared her dedication to Paterson's children with the P.E.A. members both of School # 13 and throughout the District.
I was stunned to learn of her passing, and send to all of her family my most sincere sympathies.

To Bette's family and friends,
My first interaction with the Lydon's was when I was so fortunate to work in the Middletown schools and call Paul a dear friend. I even remember Dad bringing Andrew to our home to do impeccable electricity work. Mom and I shared teaching experiences and our once a year Christmas card exchange. I not too long ago discussed her Hawaii trip with her as I have planned travel vacations for many teacher friends.
My heart goes out to you at this especially difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Betty Ann was my neighbor and babysitter back in Fair Lawn. She was always a very happy person. I looked up to her and am very upset to hear about her untimely departure. I am happy to know that she has been reunited with Paul and together they will forever be overlooking their family! God Bless

We are saddened by the sudden loss of such a special person. Our prayers go out to her entire family. Bette Ann certainly touched the lives of many people, she will always be remembered for one who spoke her mind and cared deeply not only for her family, but for all those around her. Dear Lydon Family,
I was sincerely sorry to hear of your mom' passing. I worked with her for 31 years. She was a wonderful wonderful person. After retiring, she always kept me informed about what was happening with the School 13 family. She was such a selfless and loving person.
