Obituary of Louise J. Lichtenstadter

Louise J. Lichtenstadter, 92, of Goshen, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY.
Born September 14, 1923 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Mortimer and the late Anna (Paulsen) Lichtenstadter. Louise was a self employed financial investor. Louise enjoyed going to the theater and fine dining in NYC. She also loved her ballroom dance lessons at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. She was also a member of the Norwegian and Swedish club where she attended the annual festivals with her lifelong friend of 90 years Elsa D'Andrea who predeceased her in December 2012.
She is survived by her God daughters, Marilyn D'Andrea and Judy Lodato and husband Charles all of Goshen; God sons, George D'Andrea and wife Joan of Glen Rock, NJ and Mark D'Andrea of Bogota, NJ; cousins, Margaret Ann Schiffman, Karen Renner, Gail Purdy and Unna Gatto.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5:30-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, with the funeral service in the funeral home at 7:30 pm with Pastor Skip Collier of Calvary Chapel of Orange County.
Burial will be in Englewood-Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Louise's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
