Obituary of Howard T. Perry

Howard T. Perry, Jr., 80, of Goshen, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Born August 24, 1935 in S. Williamsport, PA, the son of Howard T. Perry, Sr. and Ruth (Lott) Perry. Ted graduated from Rider College in NJ with a business degree focused in accounting and finance. Ted served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1961 completing a 3 year tour at Kagnew Station in Africa as a SPC-5. Following his military service Ted worked in the finance and accounting departments for several corporations eventually retiring from Western Union after 30 plus years. Ted's last position was as a Business System Consultant responsible for IT Quality Assurance and Testing of the company's money transfer systems. Ted supported his community by being part of several organizations to include The Elks Club and Goshen Senior Citizens (Treasurer) as well as being a life-long blood donor for Red Cross. He is survived by his wife Patricia M. Perry at home; sons, Michael C. Warren and Kevin J. Warren and their wives Susan and Patty; brothers, Robert, Charles and Dale Perry; sisters, Ruth Reigle, Sandy Dugan and Alice; 4 grandchildren, Alexa, Brandon, Alana and Conor; as well as 16 nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and children Donald J. Warren, Patricia A. LaBonty and Christopher M. Warren. Visitation will be Monday, October 19 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY.
