Obituary of Johanna E. Schieber

Johanna E. Schieber Chester, New York Johanna E. Schieber, beloved wife, mother and nana, entered into rest on Thursday, May 7, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was 66 years old. The daughter of the late Mary and Patrick Moriarty, she was born on July 12, 1942 in Bronx, NY. She married her sweetheart, Paul, in September of 1962. They were married for 46 years and resided in the Hudson Valley. Johanna was a church and theater volunteer, as well as a talented homemaker. She lovingly dedicated most of her life to the well-being and happiness of her family and close friends. She is survived by her devoted husband: Paul; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marie Schieber of San Francisco, CA; her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and John Luedke of Goshen, NY; her daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Howard Kallman of Nyack, NY; two sisters, Mary Rita Grogan and Margaret Gioffre; her five darling grandchildren, Madeline Grace Luedke, John Edward Luedke, Madeline Marie Schieber, Jonah Paul Schieber, Tobias "Toby" Schieber, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 10:00 am at The Church of St. John the Evangelist, 71 Murray Avenue., Goshen. Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
