Anthony Di Capua, 85, of Chester, NY died Monday, April 11, 2008 at St. Teresa's Nursing Home, Middletown.
Anthony was born August 4, 1922 in New York, NY the son of Joseph and Angelina (Coppa) Di Capua. He was the husband of Edith G. Pugliese
Anthony served in the Army during World War II, was a retired truck driver for Quinn Freight Lines in Carlstadt, NJ, a member of St. Columba Church and a former member of St. Columbas Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Edith G. Di Capua at home; one brother Michael Di Capua of New York City, sister-in-law Susan Carinci and husband Armond of Yonkers; nephew Frank Arcuri and wife Carol of Westchester; Nieces Marie Betro and husband Frank of Chester, Carol Connolly and husband Richard of Chester and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Angelina and Joseph, brothers, Peter and Salvatore; sisters, Lucy Malinconico and Ann Arcuri.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 14, at 10:00 am at St. Columba Church, 27 High St., Chester, NY
Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla..
