To the Ayrey Family.
I am truly sorry for your loss. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to be there for you, I just found out today of his passing. I will always remember hanging out with Laura when we where kids and John tormenting us. He was always like another big brother. As we got older John turned into such a great man. He will truly be missed and I wish you all love and prayers during your time of loss.

What a wonderful little neighbor boy I knew, so kind to my girls, and always interested in whatever we were doing.
When our middle daughter was born 25 years ago he was the very first person to come to the door and ask to see the baby....All through school he was good to Sarah, Suzy and even Grace.
I am so sorry that you have lost him, and pray that he will find peace and tranquility. Our hearts go out to all of you.

John's sister, Laura, were best friends for a long time when we were little. I spent many nights over their house on Hill Road. I remember John as the big brother always messing with us playing king of the mountain and always trying to mess with Laura. John was a great guy. Always making jokes good to be around. My condolenses to his whole family, you are all in my prayers. He will be missed.

I think that John is a man I met who called himself JP. I never knew his last name, but all of the descriptive identifiers make me believe that this is him. He lived in Goshen, was 33, and was born on October 14th; proud of his Irish heritage, and his silver Prelude.
He was an amazingly funny and compassionate person who never failed to make me laugh whenever we had the opportunity to talk.
I know he loved his girlfriend very much, as well as his parents and his sister, because he would speak from the heart about them, and felt he might have let them down.
The last time I saw JP was at the gas station right before the holidays, and he told me he was now driving for Visconti. I’ve tried to call him since reading this, but he doesn’t answer.
He always presented himself as a happy go lucky, life of the party, honorable, caring and kind man. I will miss his occasional call, but most of all, his smile and his spirit.
Bless you JP. I hope you know how many smiles you brought my way during the short time I knew you. I am so very sad to think that the world has lost you, who brought joy into the lives of so many others.
To the Ayrey and Smith families, and to Heather, if JP is your John Patrick, then please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss, for it is indeed tragic and far too soon. He touched the lives of every person’s path he crossed; we were blessed by his presence, and deeply saddened by his passing. May you find strength and comfort in your most treasured memories of him, and cherish the time you had together.
A dear friend

John was a very good friend of mine for many years, who takes a piece of my heart with him to that exciting "race track in the sky". He was always kind and respectful to me and my 3 adult children, Anthony, Christina and John. His charm, good sense of humor, patience, understanding, his friendship and of course his Irish Pride will always be remembered. Most of all I will miss his smile and his warm friendly hugs when I think of him. John, we will never forget you, especially on St. Patty's day or the "super bowl".
As for his family, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers at this time of grief. God help you deal with this loss.
