I joined the BOCES Guidance Group on the opening day of school in 1984. I worked without a desk for a couple of weeks. Nancy was the one who shared her desk with me until I finally got my own. I only worked with her a couple of years but she was a fountain of information and she taught me well. I replaced Nancy and I stayed for 18 years. My sincere condolences go out to her family. She was a great lady.

I worked with Nancy for several years in the BOCES Occ. Ed. Guidance Office. I remember her as a bright, energetic woman who loved a good joke. She was a leader in the department and I learned alot from her. I have now been @ BOCES 29 years but I always remember Nancy as one of our pioneers. It is with much sadness that I offer my condolences. Nancy really was one of a kind!!

Nancy was a great mentor to me when I started teaching at BOCES. I loved her b/c she was an honest, "tell it like it is" person. She made people laugh even when one felt like crying after a tough day at work. God bless each of you and know that she is in a much better place now! With love and Sympathy, Toni & Ed Vanders
