Edward F Baker, age 70, of Goshen, NY. died Friday, January 4, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen.
Edward was born January 4, 1938 at Waltham, MASS, the son of the late Cecil and the late Louisa (Doll) Baker.
Edward was married to the Late Joan (Sweeney) Baker.
He Served as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. After his Navy career he worked for both the City & State of New York.
Edward was a member of the Orange County Grasshoppers Golf Association.
He is survived by 4 daughters Joanna Baker & her Husband David Martin of Duncan, S.C., Theresa Loeffler & Husband Jim of Grayslake, Illinois, Jennifer Josefchuk & Husband Don of Appleton, Wisconsin, Helen Ward & Husband Stan of Hamilton, Mass; Sister - Ellen Chiaverini & Husband Anthony of Sommers, NY., 7 Grandchildren Joe, Jessa, Jameson, Mikayla, Kirsten, Scott & Chris, Numerous Nieces & Nephews, Edward was Blessed by other surviving family members- Edward Sweeney, Mary Ann Dalton, Barbara & Richard Curry, He was Pre-Deceased by His Wife Joan Baker, Brother Arthur Baker & Sister Dorothy Lord
Visitation hours will be Monday January 7, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Funeral Prayer Service & Military Honors will be Monday at 8:00 P.M. During Visitation at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY., Burial will be Private & at the Convenience of the family.
