Henry Eckerson, Jr., age 74, of Goshen died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Andover Subacute Rehabiliation Center, Andover, NJ.
Henry was born September 27, 1933 in Goshen, NY. The son of Henry and Gladys (Lynch) Eckerson.
He was a retired Staff Sergeant and served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1971 during Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He is survived by his wife Venice Riciotti Eckerson; son, Ronald Eckerson of Kansas; daughter, Jessica Eckerson of Middletown; 2 brothers Charles Eckerson of Goshen and Frederick Eckerson; 2 sisters, Hilda Williams of Lexington, Kentucky and Sandra Eckerson of Middletown; grandchildren and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 12:00 pm at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Craigville Rd, Goshen with Reverend Kingsley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen.
