Arthur Dross, Jr., age 61, of Goshen died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY.
Arthur was born September 19, 1945 in Patterson, NJ the son of Arthur Dross, Sr. and Agnes Ruitenberg Dross. He was married to Linda A. Howell.
Arthur served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1969 during Vietnam War. He was employed by MJJ Builders Of Orange Ltd. in Warwick, NY as a Building Supervisor.
Artie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved being on the job, especially working on the senior housing projects with MJJ. He enjoyed deer hunting, auto racing, riding his quad and was an honorary member of Black Brook Rod and Gun Club Inc of Forestburgh, NY.
He is survived by his wife: Linda A. Dross of Goshen; daughters, Deborah Eurich and husband David of Warwick, Denise Panebianco and husband David of Chester; sister, Bernadette Memmelaar and husband Albert of Goshen; brother-in-law, Adam Kowalczyk of Florida, NY; granddaughter, Taylor Panebianco of Chester; nieces and nephews, Kenneth and Brian Memmelaar, Daniel and Vincent Kowalczyk, Susan Ambrosino and Diane Bianchi. He was predeceased by his mother and father Arthur Sr. and Agnes; sister, Beverly Kowalczyk and nephew Albert Memmelaar.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen, on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 11:00 am with Reverend David Kingsley officiating. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen.
