Irene was the best sister/friend I have ever had. She was firstly a child of God. A very sweet, sincere, loving, gracious, kind, warm, honest and serene person. I was so blessed to have known her. She took care of my husband who has Alzheimer's and even went with me to visit him every week. Then we went to different restaurants to enjoy some delicious lunch. What a great woman of God. I am crying as I write this. I will never forget her. She even helped my mom when she visited from Trinidad. Irene even met another person she worked with at the nursing home. She would go over to her and comb her hair. Irene never stopped there, she would go over to other residents and pray for them. I do not know another person who can compare to Irene. She was one of a kind. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. I hope to meet her in heaven one day. God bless her loving family for having the one and only Irene in their lives.
