Baltimore, MD - Formerly of Campbell Hall, NY
Kenneth Hunter Jr., resident of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Campbell Hall, NY, entered into eternal rest on Saturday December 20, 2014 in Cohoes, NY. He was 67 years old. Born on November 13, 1946 in Somerville NJ, he was the son of the late Kenneth Hunter Sr. and Marcella Earle Hunter.
He was a resident of Campbell Hall, NY before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1964. He was an Engineman 2nd Class and was awarded three service medals during the Vietnam era including the Bronze Star.
A lifelong mechanic, he enjoyed photography, military history and car racing.
He was survived by his wife, Belinda Hunter of Campbell Hall, NY; brother, Brian Hunter of Detroit, MI, companion, Chrystal Johnson; his children: Kendall Hunter and wife, Kathy of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Lynette Hunter Goodman and late husband, Wesley Goodman of Campbell Hall, NY, Aleathia Hunter and Curtis Morrison of Milford, PA, Leon Hunter and wife, Nicole Hunter of Maybrook, NY and Teresa Changa and husband, Michael Changa of Cohoes, NY.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Brad Morrison, Bryce Morrison, Michael Hunter, Sydnei Goodman, Jordan Goodman, Karina Hunter, Leon Hunter, Julia Hunter, Jamar Lindo, Thomas Gibbons, Brandon Gibbons, Anthony Changa, Alicia Changa, Tara Changa, Giana Changa and Aaron Rodriguez; great-grandson, Jordan Gibbons; nieces and nephews: Andrea Wade, Lisa Wade, Christopher Wade, Erica Hunter, Alyssa Hunter, Eric Hunter and Ross Hunter; and several grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marcella Earle Hunter; father, Kenneth Hunter Sr.; and sisters, Barbara Wade and Brenda Hunter.
Burial will be conducted at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 111 Craigville Road in the town of Goshen on Saturday, January 10th at 2 p.m.
