I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Borin family and friends. The death of a loved one is very painful. Please take comfort in knowing that Our Creator has already made provision to awaken him from sleep in the near future. This hope is spoken of by Jesus in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 where it states "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...". Sickness and death will be a thing of the past. May this wonderful promise and your memories of Mr. Borin's life sooth your heartache until that coming day.
For further comfort about what the Bible promises regarding the hope for the dead kindly visit www.jw.org.
Sincerely
E. Clarke

If you knew Art you were blessed. I considered him a true friend. His integrity, passion and wisdom was unlike any person I have met in the scrap industry. Art was a true man, he loved his family, his work, and shredders. He provided my company with more guidance and wisdom than words can describe. he will be deeply missed and most certainly celebrated by all.
We will miss you friend.

Several years ago, it was our privilege to share in welcoming the Borin family to the Heart Lake community. We knew immediately that Art and Karen and their children were wonderful, caring people. As many communities are, Heart Lake is a place where people are concerned about their neighbor's well being. We supervise each others children when they are playing on "our side of the lake" as well as on the water. Countless times, Art and I would stop and talk to each other while we passed on the water or on land.
Art ALWAYS asked about my family. You could tell he REALLY cared. Heart Lake is, without question, an even better place because Art Borin and his family have added so much to this tight knit community. Karen and the children remain in our prayers.

Art was not only a friend but a mentor. His knowledge and wisdom was second to none. When ever I wanted to vet a problem or engineer a better solution, Art was always the first call. I cant count how time that his efforts made a difference and how he made me feel when we would put on our engineers hat for a discussion and finish with a smile and a laugh. I'm a better person and engineer for knowing him. I glad that I met him and thankful that he spent some quality time with me.

Art's dad and Abex/Amsco Cast Products are one of the main reasons I have been in the scrap industry for 34 years. I had many spirited conversations with Art. Art had strong family values and his word was always good. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know and work with Art.

Art was one of the first friend's I made our freshman year at Drexel University. 6th floor Kelly Hall. What a crazy bunch of guys. Throughout the years some of us stayed together, some joined different
fraternities, but we still kept close ties. Art opened up his families Lake George getaway, and we made some great ski trip memories. I clearly remember riding in the back of his pick up truck during the summer months going from PA to NY, with the other guys. It was legal then. Art had a huge heart and I will miss him dearly.
