Edward Martin Cawein November 23,1922 - November 25,2014 Edward M. Cawein of Otisville entered into rest on Tuesday November 25,2014. He was 92 years old. He was the son of the late William Cawein and Dorathea Albrecht Cawein. He was born in Otisville on November 23,1922. He served in the US Navy in WWII, and was a proud American. He retired after 30 years from RI Suresky and Sons. Family Statement read: Ed was always there for his family and friends. He loved people and would do anything possible to help them if he could. He also loved his flowers and wood working. Everyone would stop by and admire his flowers. He was loved by all that knew him. He is survived by : His sister Dorothy Mertz and her husband Jerry of the state of Florida. Daughter Linda Brown and husband Leonard of Mt. Hope. Sons: William Cawein of Richmond Hills, NY, Edward Cawein, Jr and his wife sue from Campbell Hall, NY. 11 Grandchildren: Christina and Mike Brown, Katie Brown, William and Andrew Cawein , Nicole Medley, Jennifer and Raymond Cawein, Lenore Vanhine, Laurie Brown, Adopted Granddaughter Nettie Green. 13 Great grand Children: Steven, Samantha, Matthew Brown. Tyler and Paige Medley, Lucas Cawein, Jason Cawein, Dakota Basso and Isabella Cawein, Kody and Ashley Forman. Jacklin and Kayla Chappuis and many nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Muriel Marsh Cawein, Son Ronald Cawein and Sister Charlotte Gardner, Daughter in law Alberta Cawein, Bother in law Donald Marsh. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made in Edwards name to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Orange County.
