Gloria Esther Robles, age 69, of Goshen, NY., died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Westchester County Medical Center , Valhalla, NY.. Gloria was born May 21, 1945 in Puerto Rico , . She is the daughter of Carmen Gloria Ortiz and the late Francisco Robles.
Gloria was employed by Bronx School District, Bronx, NY as an Art Teacher.
She is survived by her Mother- Carmen Gloria Ortiz; 2 sons - Leonard John Lopez & his wife Debra Nicole & Steven Samuel Lopez 1 Daughter - Debra Suzzane Lopez; Daughter-in-law - Doris Tarafa; 3 Brothers -Edwin, Zoilo, & Gil Robles; 1 Sister - Ivette Robles; 4 Grandchildren -Steven Lopez, Jordan Lopez, Jenna Lopez & Taylor Lopez and Many other relatives & friends she adored
Gloria was a wonderful, Loving, Caring mother of three that is a true inspiration to all. She had a beautiful sole & demeanor that allowed her to rise above life's challenges. In spire of illnesses she graduated from College and obtained a successful teaching career.
Those who were fortunate to know her understand what it means to be loved and have hope.
Speaking for family members and those who knew her.- "we selfishly want her with us forever, in spite of her challenges. When she is not with us our hearts are empty. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 14 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, October 15 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown. NY..
