Obituary of Keenan Blase Foster

Keenan Blase Foster of Goshen, N.Y. passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2014. He was born on Nov. 13, 1985 to Mary Winifred and James Foster. Keenan was brilliant, spirited, and showed an endless enthusiasm for life. He loved music, sports, technology, gardening, politics and religion. He always had a pocketful of stories to share with everyone and was never at a loss for gentle words of wisdom. Keenan was deeply intuitive, abundantly kind and generous which was especially evident while caring for his friends, younger cousins and nephews. He had a special devotion to St. Kateri, a North American Indian Saint which drew him toward his love of hiking. He will be endlessly missed and loved by his Mother, Mary Winifred Foster of Goshen, N.Y., his brother Kevin Foster, also of Goshen and his sister and brother-in-law, Amy(Foster) and Joseph Borecky of San Diego, Calif. He also leaves his nephews, Archer and Summit Borecky, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Winifred Hubner of Goshen, N.Y., six aunts, six uncles and thirteen cousins. Keenan was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Cornelius E. (Bud) Hubner. An evening wake will be held at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY on Thursday, July 10 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. John Evangelist R.C. Church in Goshen on Friday morning at 11:00 AM. Babies and small children gravitated to Keenan.
