My wonderful friend Rip!! I have known you for 40 years and have loved you every minute of them. I am so sad that you are gone, as are my children Dana, your God-daughter, and Steven, my son who both thought the world of you. You made all our lives brighter and happier, and I regret that I won't ever speak to or visit with you again. Much love to you my GOOD FRIEND. Say hi to Doug when you two meet again!! He will be happy to see you.

I didn't know rip very well only having met him a couple of times through one of his long time friends. However, I found him to be a remarkably kind and reserved fellow, He will sorely be missed at my Super Bowl parties
