Obituary of Heide R. Liotard
Please share a memory of Heide to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Heide R. Liotard, 47 of Maybrook, NY died at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.
Heide was born September 4, 1965 in Hackensack, N.J, the daughter of the late Russell J. and the late Charlene H. (Skinner) Liotard.
Heide had an infectious laugh, amazing sense of humor, and a smile that lit up any room she walked into. She was a daughter, sister, a friend to many, but most importantly a mother, Heide was a mother who raised 2 beautiful children on her own. She had a very strong work ethic; who sometimes worked 2 and 3 jobs at a time to provide for her children. She was a strong capable independent woman who also opened her own business, The House of Wax; after graduating from school as an Esthetican. She was an animal lover since childhood, and adopted a rescue dog, "Jing-A-Ling." Even her loving dog seems to be lost without her.
Heide will deeply and sadly be missed by all who know her, but by no one more than her own 2 children, Christian Phillip Dunn of Maybrook, NY, who is a member of the United States Navy. Heide couldn't be more proud of him and his decision to join the Navy and serve his country; and Summer Ashley Tuttle also of Maybrook (17 years old) who is currently making plans to further her education. Her mother, always proud of her, stated "Summer is so smart I know she can be what ever she wants to be!"
Heide leaves behind 2 sisters, Holly Miller of Pine Bush, her son, Nicholas Miller and fianc Carmelina Vivenzio of Peekskill, NY and Hope Thorpe of Walden, her children, Anthony Thorpe and Haven Louie; brother, Russell Thomas Liotard and wife Robin Louis-Liotard of Maybrook and their son Julian and Bethany Liotard of Upstate New York. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will remember our Heide laughing, smiling and always fun to be around.
