Dear Magee, Robert, William and families, As one of the Per-Diem nurses at Glen Arden I had the pleasure of working with your Dad, or "Mr. D" as I called him. Though words can never replace your loss, may it help to know he made a positive impact on myself and so many others. Too, the pride your Dad took in his family was reflected in the love you displayed by being there for him. Time of day never affected his unwaivering smile and fabulous sense of humor. Definitely one of the bright spots in my day. He will always be fondly remembered. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

96th infantry reunions were always special to use with Bob. My husband served with Bob in Okinawa during WWII. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time.

Uncle Bob was a big strong man. He loved football and car racing, but most of all he loved his family. I can still hear his voice when I think of him. I remember when he would come home from work with his uniform and hat. The first thing he would do is kiss his kids. May God bless you, say Hi to Aunt Midge and Nanny.
