Susie S. House, age 97, of, Goshen passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Valley View Center For Nursing Care & Rehab of Goshen, NY. Susie was born July 22, 1915 in Warwick, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank Sloat and the late Mary (Webb) Sloat. She was married to the late W. Leonard House. She was employed by Orange County Home And Infimary, Goshen, NY as a(n) Cafeteria Worker. The family would like to thank Brenda & Florence and their Staff and anybody who gave care to Susie at The Valley View Center for nursing Care & Rehabilitation. Susie is survived by one daughter, Beverly A. Wood of Goshen, NY; one sister Gertrude Clark of Middletown, NY; Three grandchildren Stephanie Weaver, George L. Wood, Dane J. Wood; five great grandchildren, Lindsey, Tyler, Lee, Cassidy and Brendan; One great great granddaughter, Cheyenne; Several nieces and nephews Susie is predeceased by he husband W. Leonard House, two brothers Charles and Frank Sloat; Three sisters, Marion Shanley, Helen VanTassell and Mildred Rudy. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, October 20 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
