Obituary of Patricia J. Wilson

Patricia J. Wilson, 80, a long time resident of Mt. Hope died on Saturday, November 19 at Elant Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Goshen. She was born on August 25, 1930 in Westtown to Amelia Daubert and Philip Schmick. Pat was a retired teacher's aide for the Minisink School District. She served in the US Army and was married to US Army Major Robert E. Wilson, Sr. They were stationed in France and Alaska during enlistment. Pat was an excellent cook who loved to cook for her family. She also loved to garden and take care of her home. She is survived by three sons, Robert E. Jr., of Bloomingburg, David of Otisville and Mark of Coral Springs, Fl., granddaughter Tricia Catalano of Middletown, sisters Rose Kerr of Latta, SC, Mary Lou (Grant) Charles of New Hampton, Jane Sobiech (Edwin) of Warwick, Shirley Schmick of Unionville, brothers, George (Shirley) Schmick of Topeka, KS, Eugene (Susan) Schmick of Unionville, Craig (Robin) Schmick of Hugenot, sister in law Joyce Schmick of Bloomsburg, PA, several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, sisters Elsie Hipe, Ruth Kirshner, Loretta Williams, Emma Craig, Ginger Poloniak, brothers Samuel, Harold, Rueben, Robert (Sonny) and John Schmick. Services will be private for the family. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Donovan Funeral Home in Goshen is in charge of arrangements
