Obituary of Ralph James Bova

Ralph James Bova, " Court office Singer" age 61, of Rock Hill, NY., died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at home in Rock Hill. Mr. Bova was born July 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late James Bova and the late Mary (Granite) Bova. He married Barbara M. Berkowitz. Ralph and Barbara his beloved wife and sole mate where married on 1/10/2002, which was the happiest day of their life. Ralph was a very Intelligent man and he had a beautiful Heart. He truly was an extraordinary man. He was employed by NY State Senior Court Officer, Goshen, NY as a(n) Senior Court Officer. He Loved Opera and sang Professionally and was known as the 4th Tenor. He loved the Brooklyn Dodgers. Above all the most Important thing to him was his beloved Barbara. He is survived by his wife: Barbara M. Bova at home; Daughter - Elizabeth Bova of Staten Island, NY.; Mother-In-Law - Mary Berkowitz of Flushing, Queens; Sister-In-Law - Mala Berkowitz; ; Special thanks to Marty Collins, Jack Beyar, Major Bryan Negron and the Hospice nurse from Orange & Sullivan Counties - Beth The funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Friday, June 10 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown Immediately following . Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
