Losing someone can be a painful experience and something that can make us feel empty inside. I give my sympathy to you and your family because death isn't a good thing to witness. The Bible teaches: “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” 1 Corinthians 15:26. Jehovah God is more powerful than death and doesn't want it to exist. To God death is an enemy and he promises to destroy this enemy. To lose a loved one can be really painful. Please do not feel as though God took them away from you because the Bible tells us at Job 34:10 “Far be it from the true God to act wickedly!” Jehovah God wants everyone on the earth to continue living on forever. He wants the best for us as it indicates at 2 Timothy 3:16. God purposes to make the earth a beautiful paradise and to permit everlasting life. How great will it be to experience that! Your loved lost one isn't lost forever though, you will surely see them again in the resurrection the Bible describes at John 5:28-29.
