MARK LINDLAND
GOSHEN, NEW YORK
Mark Lindland, 43, of Goshen passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer on Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Mark was born October 26, 1965 in Nyack, NY. He was the son of Arne Lindland and Pat (Clift) Cohen, and the husband of Dana Lindland.
He was a 25 year employee at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus in Goshen and loved his job. An avid Dallas Cowboy and Yankee fan, he also loved to fish, play pool, and listen to the Rolling Stones.
Mark was an inspiration to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Dana; mother, Pat Cohen and husband David J. of Goshen; father, Arne Lindland and wife Evelyn of Goshen; maternal grandmother, Frances Clift of Honesdale, PA; sister, Lisa Lindland Racz and husband Joseph of Souderton, PA; father-in-law, James Blust; mother-in-law, Linda Reinitz and husband Wayne; sister-in-law, Amber Sybrandy and husband Johannes; niece Emily and nephews, Joey and Stephen; and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and loyal friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY and 6:00 to 7:00 pm at St. James Episcopal Church, St. James Street, Goshen. The Service will begin at 7:00 pm in St. James Episcopal Church, with Father Carl Lunden officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. James Episcopal Garden.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark's name may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Rd., Suite 146, DesPlains, IL 60018-4110 or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
