Obituary of Thomas James Macklin

Thomas James Macklin, age 78, of Middletown, NY entered into eternal rest Friday, April 26, 2024.
Thomas was born June 13, 1945 in County Roscommon, Ireland. He is the son of the late James and the late Mary (Connelly) Macklin. He married his sweetheart Adeline O'Mahony in 1968 and had 3 children. They moved to America 38 years ago and called it home.
He was employed by Local 18A Cement & Concrete Workers Union as a Construction Worker. Once he retired, he and his wife Adeline moved to the Catskills where he enjoyed fishing on the lake and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife: Adeline (O'Mahony) Macklin; daughter Siobhán Henry and her husband Garrett Henry; son James Macklin and his wife Stacey Macklin; and daughter Martha Randazzo and her husband Joseph Randazzo. Combined, Thomas had eight grandchildren; Chelsea Henry, Casey Macklin, Myles Henry, Brody Henry, Olivia Randazzo, Ryan Henry, Madison Randazzo and Vincent Randazzo.
Visitation will be Monday, April 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. John The Evangelist RC Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Thomas's name to the Lewy Body Dementia Fund of the American Brain Foundation.
