My Uncle Jerry was not my uncle. He was more. Aunt Sharon (not my aunt but a train-buddy of my Mom when they commuted to NYC) met him at a bar after my parents' wedding. The O'Ds and the Ruebs spent many wonderful/awful camping holidays together in Jersey state parks that they could afford at that time. Jerry pushed me to run faster around those campgrounds, to push hard and aim high until his last days. He was always rooting for me. I'm sure he did for others, as was his way. My parents chose not to saddle their children with middle names - Ruebenstahl fills up most of the letters on any forms. :-) At my confirmation, I took his name. My deepest condolences to Aunt Sharon, Jerry, Tommy, Elise and Michael who has his Dad with him now, Kevin Jerome Ruebenstahl

Jerome O’Donnell was a wonderful family man who loved interacting with all people he came in contact with. I had the pleasure of his company several times over the past 30 years at family functions with Jerry and Cynthia ,and I can honestly say whenever I knew he would be attending ,the day would be that much brighter. It was obvious that Jerome had a knack for connecting with everyone he had conversations with. Personally , I’ll miss our conversations regarding sports, golf, family, work and most of all, a shared love for US history . We even exchanged books. Jerome, rest in peace and know the wonderful memories will live on through all who loved you. The positive impact your life has had on others is your legacy. Forever in our hearts, Tom Myers
