Ellen P. Miller, 83, of Goshen entered into rest on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Sapphire Nursing & Rehab, Goshen, NY.
Ellen was born June 25, 1940, in Bronx, NY, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Helen Voorhees Lee, she made her way to Goshen where she grew up and enjoyed school and its activities.
Ellen was married twice, first to Harold Decker for 25 years and had 2 precious children, Keith and Debbie. Her second marriage was to Richard Miller, for 29 years where she was blessed to have 2 stepsons, Eric and Davey. She had a full and happy life.
She retired from Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen, NY. She enjoyed going to the Casino with Rich and playing cards with the Miller family. She loved the weekly garage sales, and going for coffee, donuts and scratchers. Ellen made friends easily, they were touched by her kindness and grace. She loved all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Keith Decker and Debbie Decker Joshnick and husband Craig; stepsons, Eric Miller and wife Sharon and David Miller and wife Allison, her grandchildren, Benjamin Decker (Danielle), Austin Joshnick, Derrick Miller (Ashley), Erica Miller, Jesse Miller, great grandchildren, Paris Decker and Everly Miller; sister Laura McGuire Rosiny and brother, Johnathan Spencer.
Ellen was predeceased by her siblings, Raymond McGuire, Jr., Jean Egbertson and Susan Lee.
A Graveside Service and burial was held to Celebrate her life at 12:30pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen NY.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Ellen
