While Goshen was my husbands hometown, Mary Gray is the reason I wanted to make it mine. If only I could have…
How do I begin to describe my wonderful friendship with Mary Gray?
So many memories, so many excursions, so many shopping trips and so much fun! I was a new member to the Goshenite family, but found a sister I never had. She has the gift of bringing out the very best in oneself. We had many many forays into her kitchen, including making the hors d’ouvres for Gigi’s wedding—and trying them out of course! We had an ongoing contest for who could cook the most recipes for roasted chicken…. This lasted for years!
But my most memorable ‘thank you’ came when she and her Tom gave my daughter her wedding at their lovely home on the hill. A most wonderful day of music, family, and good friends. Mary Gray was the best of women; visionary, honest, and a true-blue friend through thick and thin. I treasure the memory of the years we had together and am thankful I phoned to say goodbye to my dear Mary Gray.

I've known my "Aunt Mary Gray" my entire life. She and "Uncle Griff" were lifelong and dear friends of my mom & dad. MG and my mom were a part of a group of friends who were the "Entertaining Queens" of Pearl River. MG truly lead a life well lived, her friends, family and community are the better for her.
