Victor J. LoPiccolo, Sr.
November 14, 1935 - March 22, 2010
Victor J. LoPiccolo, Sr. of Goshen, NY and Jupiter, FL passed away at the age of 74 on Monday, March 22, 2010. He died suddenly of natural causes in his home in Florida.
Victor was born on Nov. 14, 1935 in Palermo, Sicily. He was the son of Vincenzo and Vincenza LoPiccolo and the brother to Vincent, Lucindo, Philip, Maria and Anna. Victor was a loving, caring and giving husband to his wife Susan. Victor and Susan were happily married for 53 years.
Victor was a mason by trade and was a very successful contractor. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus Council #4952. He also volunteered his time to teach Italian to the Girl Scouts in Goshen. He was a gentleman and took pride in everything he did. Victor touched the lives of all he met. He was a loving father and a fine example to his children Victor, Jane, Barbara and Dina.
Victor is survived by his wife Susan, Siblings Lucindo, Philip, Maria, and Anna, children Victor LoPiccolo and spouse Lisa, Jane Heilweil and spouse Jordan, Barbara Chesney and spouse Seth and Dina Kania and spouse Mike and grandchildren, Jessica Chesney, Victor, Marisa, and Nicholas LoPiccolo, Michael, Rachel and Jason Kania. Proceeded in death by his oldest brother Vincent.
Visitation will be Fri., March 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Sat., March 27 at 9:30 am in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Goshen, N.Y.
Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
