My heart is broken I just found out today. My thoughts and prayers for the Maria John and camden.. I’m so very sorry. He was a great kid always a smile had some nice conversations through the years as he was growing into an awesome young man. I can’t imagine the loss of losing your child. May he be guided through gods loving hands.

I met Madison through my son Taylor Cook. Taylor didn’t go to Burke HS, he went to Washingtonville and was introduced to Madison by Blake Waaland when he transferred to WHS. From the moment Taylor met Madison he just loved him. He couldn’t express enough what an incredible person Madison was. Taylor loves all of his friends but Madison had qualities that impressed and endeared Madison to him beyond what words can express. I wish there were words now to ease some of the pain of losing such a remarkable person. For his family, know that Madison left his mark on everyone he met and that will never fade.

Some of my favorite pictures and memories. I'm glad we got that time together. It was fun playing darts in the garage, playing cornhole, listening to music, and just talking. The last time we talked was on Snapchat the day before you died... you congratulated me on winning my award...it means alot to me. I still can't believe you are gone. I miss you and I love you Madison. Kool Kidz Club Forever!

My nephew...2,000 mile separation didn't allow us as many occasions or the time to better know each other as I would've liked. But in our family, that doesn't diminish the bond we feel for each other. Everything I ever heard about you made me feel very proud for your parents and the family. Eagle Scout was an especially nice touch. It was always obvious that you had a lot to contribute to all those around you and the world, in general. You brought much pride and joy to your parents and all the family and we are grateful for who you were and all you gave to us while you were among us. Our hearts are broken...you will always be Loved and missed, Madison. Uncle Lou

Watching Madison grow up with my grandson Blake Waaland was a joy and always full of laughter and adventure..I had the pleasure to join my daughter Donna Waaland and the boys for a week when they spent a semester in Barcelona ..those memories with countless others will remain with me always..Gone was too soon..RIP sweet one
