Obituary of John Falcone

John Falcone, 86, a recent resident of Goshen, NY, passed peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving daughters.
John was born in Hackensack, NJ, the son of Pasquale and Helen Falcone.
One of John's biggest accomplishments was being a dedicated and loving Dad. He often said. "Anyone could be a father but it takes a special man to be a Dad." John enjoyed the beauty of nature, gardening, and writing poetry. He was a faithful man and a deep thinker known for his quick wit and kind spirit. He had a warm heart and was an affectionate father and grandfather.
He is survived by his three daughters, Iris (Dave) Hutchinson of Columbus, NJ, Rachel (John) Breheny of Goshen, NY, and Rebecca (Michael) Bonhomme of New Windsor, NY and his five grandsons, Dalton, Wyatt, Owen, Torin and Lucas.
A special thank you to the caring and compassionate people at HOSPICE of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. for their superior care and support during his final weeks.
Visitation will be Friday, February 17 from 6 to 8 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Funeral Mass to Celebrate his life will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
Interment will be in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ at a later date.
