Dennis was the “Rock” of my flight platoon in Vietnam. However, he and I personally, mixed like oil, and water. But, as I matured, and he remained the steady, confident leader of men, I came to love and respect him like no other. It has truly been an honor to call him brother. Until we meet again, my friend. Salute!

Dennis growing up with you as cousins /friends I had so most respect for you and looked up to you , you were an amazing person .One of my greatest memories is when you came to Fort Dix to see you best friend who you served with in Vietnam who was also my company commander you also stopped by to see me in booth camp and when you walked in i was so honored and in awe of all your medals and all you did for America and the respect you shown all of us in camp . One of my highlights love you and will miss you

Q: Describe where Dennis worked and what they did
A: Dennis, and family....As a young soldier, with chronic problems with authority, I made your life a little more complicated than necessary. that being said, I'll be forever grateful for our friendship.. decades later, we reconnected, and our friendship flourished. I came to know you, as one of my most treasured friends. you never changed, I just grew up. Thank you, for allowing me to redeem myself. I knew you were leaving us, but I just kept it from myself, until the predictable bitter end. Unimaginable gratitude to your loving family, for all of their support. I don't know them, as they don't know me, but I hope they'll realize the high regard, in which we held you.. I loved you. We all loved you Slow salute, Sergeant Rocco. Until we meet again...
