My sister Linda and I spent every summer vacation in Middletown. We loved it'. My mother’s family all came from there so we had lots of Aunts and Uncles to visit. We had a lot of older.cousins. We were the younger cousins, Linda,Me, and our cousin Pat Ostrowski. We were on our own. We went all over Middletown stopping to have lunch with whichever aunt happened to be home. We were joined eventually by Aunt Margaretes granddaughter. She was a sweet little girl with the most amazing blonde hair. We didn’t know then that Arlene had brought her children home to her mom and dads. Soon Danni was joined by a small redhead boy". And that’s my memory……. Danni and Steven holding hands, her watching over him. Now they are all together again…..Arlene, Ernie, Steven and Danni…Dianne Hoffman Hulbert

We shared a lot of wonderful memories as our children grew up together. We were so lucky to have Danni and George as our friends because they taught us the meaning of the word, "family". Danni was full of love in her heart and she was always willing to share it with everyone that she met. Dina, Lindsey, George and Harry please know that Danni was loved and will be missed by all of us. May God help you all in this hour of need. Dina & Lindsey – Your mom was the flower girl when our parents, Helen Priest & Joe Donovan, were married in September 1950 (your grandmother Arlene & our Mom were first cousins). Mom was always very fond of Danni & enjoyed it so much whenever they were able to get together for lunch, which they did for many years.
