Dear Barbara and Family
I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing and his cancer. I worked for Jeff in the Features Department of The Times Herald Record for seven wonderful years from 1985 to 1992. He was smart, fair, and taught me so much. His encyclopedic memory was formidable, and his institutional knowledge about the craft of journalism kept our staff always doing our best work. He made our corner of the world a more just place. May he Rest In Peace. I am so glad that he had the good fortune to find you, Barbara, and continue to enjoy travel and a new career. He was a lucky man.
