Obituary of Daniel J. Edmonson

DANIEL J. EDMONSON GOSHEN, NEW YORK Daniel J. Edmonson, 24, of Goshen, NY died in a tragic accident, on his way to work, Thursday, January 28, 2010. Daniel was born December 1, 1985 in Goshen, NY. Danny was the Store Manager for Mavis Tire in Kinderhook, NY. He excelled in sports in baseball and soccer at Goshen High School. He loved the New York Mets and Dallas Cowboys. Danny was a loving son, grandson, brother and nephew. He will be greatly missed by everybody he touched. Danny is survived by his mother, Mary P. Kopec and stepfather Jody Kopec of Goshen; maternal grandparents, Bunny and Ken Strongreen of Lake Ariel, PA; step grandmother, Elena Kopec of Midland Park, NJ; paternal grandparents, Amy and Walter Edmonson of Myrtle Beach, SC; 3 sisters, Tara Edmonson of Bridgeport, CT, Amy Edmonson and Jennifer Edmonson ; brother Mathew Kopec all of Goshen; maternal Uncle, Ken Strongreen and wife Beth of New Windsor; paternal Aunt, Janemarie Edmonson of Pearl River; paternal Uncle, Paul Edmonson and wife Heidi of Myrtle Beach, SC; cousins, Alexis Strongreen, Emily Strongreen and Kenneth Strongreen, III all of New Windsor. Visitation will be Sunday, January 31 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 1 a12:30 pm at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
