Obituary of Victor Fleming

Victor Fleming January 12, 1949 – September 29, 2021 Goshen, New York Victor Fleming, 72, of Goshen, New York passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 with is loving family by his side after a battle with pneumonia. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Charles and Edythe Fleming and brother Michael Fleming. Victor was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina and moved to Goshen, New York shortly after. He was a great athlete and involved in many sports and graduated from Goshen High School in 1967. Victor's family was a large part of the harness racing community in which he followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather in training horses at the Goshen Historic Track. Victor worked for the Orange County Department of Public Works and Town of Goshen Public Parks before his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Laura Bull Fleming, his children that brought him so much pride and loved so much, son Erik Fleming and wife Renae Fleming; daughter Victoria Voloshin and her husband Greg Voloshin; his grandchildren which were the love of his life;Dylan, Drew, Peyton and Brady; his sisters Carol Messenger and husband Jim Messenger, RaeAnn DeLuccia and husband Ralph DeLuccia; his brothers John Fleming and Harry Fleming; and his nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank St. Anthony's ICU department and Goshen Medical Group for all their care and compassion.
