My condolences to the Donovan family. What a great and selfless person Bob was to everyone he met. We had so much fun growing up together in Goshen. I always considered it a privilege to have known him. I will always remember what a powerful laugh Bobby had and how lucky I was to have him as a true friend.

As one of Bob's closest childhood friends, words cannot express the sadness that I have for his passing. Bob was a selfless friend, classmate and human being. He was extremely popular throughout his days at Goshen High School in numerous activities as well as his dedication to sports that he participated and excelled in. His family always had a tremendous presence and reputation in the Goshen community. Bob was "top shelf" in all aspects of his personality and make-up. No one EVER had a bad word or thing to say about him. He was PERFECT to the core. Bob had not one bad bone in his body. As a friend, he ALWAYS had your back. To say that Bob will be sorely missed is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Bob's passing hurts myself as well as numerous classmates who share my sentiments. To the entire Donovan family, my sincere condolences go out to you. Bob left us all way too early. My memories of the great times I had with Bob will never leave my mindset. I still cannot believe he has left us. I hope to see you someday in heaven. It is my hope that the Donovan family can take solace in knowing that Bob had a wonderful reputation and a bubbly personality second to none. Rest in peace Bob. You were the BEST in my book. I can’t express words for a remarkable coworker as Bob Donovan. Our prayers are with his Family. For some moments in life there are no words, but the angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.

One of my longest lasting friends. I first met Bob in 1962 when wer were preschool. This breaks my heart to hear this sad news.. I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone reading this what a decent and gentle man Bob was.
