Obituary of Richard E. Cole

Richard E. Cole, 79, of Lords Valley, PA formally of Goshen, NY, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Delaware Valley Health Care Center, Matamoras, PA. He was born December 28, 1941 the son of the late Harrison and Jessie (Maybe) Cole. He worked for Orange County Community College from 1972 till he retired in 2007. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosemary Cole of Lords Valley, PA; sons, Harrison Richard Cole of Middletown, NY, Christopher Cole and companion Beth Calogero of Bloomingburg, NY, Andrew Cole and wife Christina Cole of Lords Valley; grandchildren, Andrew Ward and wife Kristina; great granddaughter, Freya Ward, Destiny Cole and fiancée Matt of Lords Valley, Serenity Cole and boyfriend Devin of Scranton, PA; sister, Ethel Flessa and husband Richard of Brooksville, FL; cousins, Janet Grippe and William Cole Sr. of Goshen and many nieces, nephews, and many cousins. Richard was predeceased by his parents, and sister, Dorothy Cherry and brother Harrison Cole. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 1-4 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the funeral service in the funeral home at 3:30pm Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
