Obituary of Arne Joseph Jensen

Arne Joseph Jensen, 56, of Goshen, entered into rest unexpectedly Monday, February 1, 2021. Arne was born May 6, 1964 at Horton Hospital in Middletown, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Shirley Jensen (Meduski) and Uncle Richie Meduski. He is survived by his brother, Jack Jensen of Goshen, NY; his girlfriend Jackie Fiumara; many cousins and extended family. He loved his family and enjoyed all gatherings. He was a lifelong Goshen resident, who graduated from Goshen High school in 1982 where he excelled in sports playing football, ski team and golf. He was a 30 plus year member of the Goshen Al Turi golf league winning the Bill Lotze Memorial Trophy 7 times. He was a tremendous golfer who had the skills to short low scores. Arne owned his own painting business, AJ Painting and Powerwashing and he liked to help people out. He liked to paint at the Historic Track. He liked to be around people and he lived his life to the fullest on his own terms. He will be missed dearly and leaves us with many good memories. He was a true friend to many. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A celebration of his life event will be held at a later date hopefully in the summer.
