It is with great sadness that I read of Maria's passing. I enjoyed working with her for years in the Recovery Center. I often think of her but did not know how to contact her after she left Nyack Hospital. We shared so many moments, good and bad, about work and our personal lives. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She loved travelling to Florida and Puerto Rico to recharge her batteries. She enjoyed showing me the pictures. I'll miss her terribly and will keep her family in my prayers.
