Well it has almost been a year dad and I miss you just as much today as I did a year ago. I don't think things get easier I think about you everyday. I love you dad. The kids talk about you everyday. Uncle Bernie always had a knack for putting a smile on anyone's face. He was one of the most good hearted, fun loving men we've ever known. He lit up any room he entered and was always the life of the party! We truly admire the love and dedication he had for his family, especially his grandchildren whom he'd do anything for. We will miss you a great deal Uncle Bernie. We know your probably already planning the party for when we all see you again! Rest in peace. Robert, Mary Ellen and Robert Jr.

What can you say about this amazing man. From the day I met Bernie he has always like another father to me. He and Essie always treated me like there own. I have known Bernie for most of my life. Uncle Bernie was always laughing with the kids. Every holiday he would want us to play games with him. What he didn't realize is that every game we played intrigued our minds and growth of knowledge. I will also remember him for his love of old movies. I think I was in my 40's when he really got down the difference between Darlene and Doreen. He never called us by our right names! And even funnier, is that he laughed at us and himself every time he did it! He will be missed by his family, friends, and his co-workers from AVON. We love you Uncle Bernie. May you rest in peace.
