Obituary of Dorothy Mae Morley

Dorothy (Dottie) Mae Morley, 81, of Warrenton, VA, formerly of Goshen and Elmira, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, VA. Dottie was born April 8, 1937 in Goshen, NY, the daughter of Charles H. Shader and Maude V. (Coddington) Shader. She was the widow of William J. Morley who predeceased her in 1998. She always put faith, family, and friends foremost. She was known for her love of children, cooking, and baking. She helped raise dozens of families as a babysitter and was famous for her tasty Christmas gingerbread men. She is survived by her children: Charles (Nancy) Morley of Elmira, NY, Kevin (Donna) Morley of Cuddebackville, NY, and Fawn (Brian) Waranauskas of Warrenton, VA. She was blessed by 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
