My condolences for all of the Rysinger family. Bob was a fellow Boy Scout with me in Troop 65. A small group of us, including Bob, went to Philmont Scout Ranch back in the 40s.
When you needed a taxi, he was always there.
I'm sure his long life was rich and rewarding.
Pace e bene,
Cal Hooker.

To the entire Rysinger families, I'm so sad to hear of Bob's passing. I knew Bob as a long as I can remember beginning downtown on North Church Street where his son, Jeff and I were neighbors as toddlers, and became life long friends. I remember Bob's Sporting Goods store, worked with him as a pre-teen/teen when he and my father ran B&R Antiques and Auction service (where Bob was the auctioneer!), I covered a portion of his tenure as Village Mayor of Goshen when I worked for the Independent Republican as a news reporter between stints in college, and most of all I fondly remember the always fun times we had hunting and fishing. Never a dull moment with Bob. Lotsa laughs, good natured ribbing and more importantly friendly, loving and familial bonding between fathers and sons. These were all very fond memories that will stay with me forever.

Bob was a great man. I grew up in Goshen and have many memories of him. I had the pleasure of being around him most of my childhood and when I came home to hunt always enjoyed His, Dale's & Jeff's company. He did so much for a town but if I can share just one memory it would be, No matter where you met him or saw him he always started with a hey and his first words were always how are ya. Just the kind of man he was. Truly heartfelt sincere caring person. Definitely Honored to have known him. My condolences to the whole family & My Prayers for all of you.
